The next batch of screenshots from the 1994 movie, More episodes from the Brazilian version of the radio show plus a link to episdoes and Spanish pulps in the radio and pulp links section respectively, new fan art, and Shadow-related print tidbits including a fundraising comic book and a similarity of comic book covers from the 1940s.

October 17, 2011
The final batch of scans from the 1974 colouring book is now up, plus the first batch of screenshots from the 1994 movie. Added a librarian/teacher recommended link to info on the Great Depression and 1929 crash, links to articles regarding copyright to The Shadow. a link to an online site for movie scripts, the next batch of Australian radio episodes, a radio clip and the first batch of episodes from the Brazilian version of the radio show, new fan art, and Shadow-related tidbits including 6 degrees of separation (sort of) between the movies The Recruit (2003), The Spirit (2008), and a brief mention in the TV series Kojak.

Added fan art, fan-made lego action figure, tidbits and articles on the 1994 movie (a comic connection, a JoBlo review and a behind-the-scenes article), a possible cameo in the upcoming Dark Knight Rises movie and an additional Mortal Kombat tidbit, links to an iPod/iPad/iPhone Shadow game app and GoHero's new Shadow figure, and movie props. More collector items including a Howard Dubois envelope design, a Shadow pin by Graffiti Designs, a radio magazine cover, a die-cast figurine, and a 1994 movie Burger King watch. Tidbits include 3 TV shows and in print.

New response to the previous new movie poll is now up. Added link to an interview with Walter B. Gibson, plus a brief history of the Shadow in pulps, a link to more info on the 1929 crash, updated the first batch of Australian radio episodes, and more Shadow-related tidbits in print (Dick Tracy and non-ficton), movies (Phurba connection), TV (2 TV shows featuring Shadow-y heros), and miscellaneous (musicals and programming languages). Check out Walter B. Gibson's Shadow ring, a fan-made movie trailer, fan art. Collector items added include a set of scans from the 1974 colouring book, and tons of 1994 movie stuff including Blu-ray info, magazine appearance, video game levels, and more info on VHS screeners.

Responses to the previous new movie poll is now up. The link to The Shadow Documentary has been posted. Added new fan fiction, fan art, radio link, a fan's Shadow-inspired fiction, and another's YouTube channel update, and more Shadow-related tidbits in print and on TV. Collector items added include set of scans from the 1974 colouring book, a Blue Coal coin, Shadow 1994 movie promotional rings, SNES game cover art, pinball machine theme song, and VHS screener.

The final New Movie poll of 2009/2010 is now up, plus more responses to the previous polls. Added titles to the Street and Smith Shadow comics volume 3 and volume 8, two history articles and a reference book coming out soon. New additions to the Collector section include pictures of a 1930s nickel pin from Street and Smith, and for the 1994 movie: Premium Ring, 2 promotional rings, and a gaming article for the SNES game. Plus a fan site, and a fan's YouTube channel update, fan art, including the Super Unofficial fan movie, and a link to pulp cover art. Tidbits include references in three TV shows: Punky Brewster, Fringe, and Canadian sitcom Corner Gas; lots and lots of Shadow references in print, and yes, even a blues band.

Note: Made a correction in the screen history main page. The 1994 movie budget is $40 million, not $30 million as was stated originally (this was confirmed in the Aug 1994 issue of Sci-Fi Entertainment magazine); I've also added a link to BoxOffice Mojo for more information. (Thanks to Abel Diaz for pointing this out.)

Results for the previous New Shadow Movie Polls are now up, plus a new poll . Plus more info on the 1994 SNES game, lots of print tidbits, a miscellaneous tidbit, fan art, fan music video, plus new episodes and dates for the 1938 summer season of the radio show. Also, a print tidbit has been added to The Shadow/Batman comparison to add some context. The first set of scans from the 1974 colouring book, an update of the Nostalgia Ventures pulp reprints up to 2010, and new radio show sets.
