The Shadow Sequel Poll

Describe your grand vision of the sequel

Corey G's Vision

It would have to be dark. As dark as the original Batman. And it would have to be true to the pulps; all other incarnations of The Shadow were taken primarily from the pulps but with someone else's spin on it. And not so much build up as far as background. We know the history, just be loyal to it! Its what drew us all in, don't tinker with it and try to make it better, we liked it already.

As far as actors, I think more of the agents should be portrayed with younger, unknowns. Don't take away from the story because the Harry Vincent is played by Brad Pitt, or The Shadow is played by Liam Neeson (although he looked good in that dark coat and hat in Darkman).

Because of [Darkman], I also think that Sam Raimi would be the obvious choice. There was talk that he wanted to do a The Shadow movie, but couldn't get the rights and therefore made Darkman. After Spider-Man and the even better Spider-Man 2, I'd like to see what he would have done with the 1994 movie. I think we'd be seeing more than one Shadow movie.
