That all depends on what you want out of the movie. More action? The Matrix diectors [Andy and Larry Wachowski] had great great action scenes — very fluid and anime-like. Lots of action and a pretty good story too (unlike the 2nd one). Story wise, I'd have to go with [Frank Darabont] who did The Green Mile; he made you a part of the story. Rob Zombie [House of 1000 Corpses] does nice work too; his video work is really good and his movie has some outstanding scenes, some funny and some scary, not just on the basic level but the mental level as well. The only thing to remember here is: "A good writter can tell you a story, a great writer can make you believe" — Bret Michaels, A Letter from Death Row.Same goes for directors. —Chris R. |
