The Shadow Monthly Poll

Besides Lamont Cranston, which of The Shadow's other guises do you like best?

Here are your choices below:
  • Kent Allard
  • Henry Arnaud
  • Phineas Twambley
  • Fritz the Janitor
  • Other (Please Specify)

Want to add your own opinion? Email me! Don't forget to read the rules, though.

Fritz!! YAY! I love how he barely even says one word to the detectives. The Shadow moves about right under their noses and they don't have a clue. I also like the "whatever" attitude that he portrays Fritz with: "Yah, yah." It's one of his better disguises because it gives him access to practically anything he wants in the police office, and when Clyde is usually shoved out of the office, Fritz comes in to "clean up". (hehe in more than one way ;) )

—Corey C.
My favorite Shadow alter-ego is the original one: Kent Allard. His entire persona is an adventurer's dream: soldier, master pilot, and spy. Later, he became a globetrotting traveler, where he expanded on his considerable abilities in exotic locations — all this BEFORE he became The Shadow! I've always thought stories about Allard would be just as cool as stories about The Shadow; it's too bad we don't have any stories about that period of his life, kind of a "Young Indiana Jones"-ish approach.

I would also have to go with Fritz. Why? Cause he's so unlike The Shadow, and yet quite helpful.

—Qutime
